Can Someone Tell Me....

Can someone tell me why a person would own a Ferrari, Lamborghini or Mazerati on an island where the top speed is 90km (about 55 mph)? The stretches of highway that are 90km are few and far between....and normally congested, you are lucky to go 30km. On top of that the island is only 26 miles east to west and 14 miles north to south. So why would someone pay the not-so-small fortune it would cost to own one of these here?
